I’m Kevin Spencer, the founder of Elite Sports Management. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I grew up immersed in the rich basketball culture of the Pacific Northwest. Following the incredible talent coming out of the Portland and Seattle area wasn’t just a hobby, it was part of everyday life in my neighborhood, household and barbershop. Although I played baseball in college, basketball has always been my true passion. I love evaluating players, breaking down their game, and identifying the qualities that often go unnoticed.

I earned my degree in Business Marketing with an emphasis in Sports Marketing from California State University, Fresno. Today, I work in the technology industry, also co-founder of Athlete Observer Institute, while remaining deeply connected to the grassroots basketball community. My background in business, sports, and technology allows me to bridge the gap between athlete development, brand building, and meaningful opportunities both on and off the court.
